What sets Brauchma apart
- No ads, in any version. No ads, no leaflets, no sponsored products, no affiliate links. Brauchma has no analytics and no tracking cookies, and its server is in the EU. More in A shopping list without ads.
- Free for good. The shared lists, offline mode and invitations stay free. Families who want to can support Brauchma with a voluntary contribution, a one-time payment without a subscription.
- Write it the way you say it. "2 kg potatoes" becomes potatoes, 2 kg, under Produce, and the list is in the order of a typical store.
- Works without reception. Adding and checking off work in the basement too; your changes follow as soon as you're back online. More in A shopping list that works offline.
- "Going shopping". One tap tells the family you're about to go shopping, with a notification on their phone if they want one.

What Brauchma doesn't have
- You can only sign in with a Google account.
- Brauchma is a web app; there is no Apple Watch app, no recipes and no voice assistant.
- A family can keep up to five lists.
- There is no import. You add your items by hand once; after that Brauchma suggests what your family has bought before.
Brauchma is free and open to everyone. Open the app, sign in with Google and invite your family.
